An attempt at silk painting!

wow! i have found out that i love painting on silk!....just recently discovered it while painting a silk scarf for my husband's aunt!....and i'm so glad she loved it!.....i tried an interesting technique on it by applying thumb print like strokes on it......it ended up giving it a grassy texture!....looked quite interesting!.....

 
oh ....and now i am more enthusiastic about getting started for real with the silk painting because i have bought this huge silk painting frame and working on a big project that is in the works.....u'll get to see the pics veryyy verrry soon!

    I think you're having way too much fun Aiman! ;}

    I love those thumbprints... great effect. Just keep playing and experimenting... you'll learn something new each time!
