My sketch book today!

ahhhhhh ! finally i am maintain a sketch of my watercolor works!.....my hand got all rusty so i'm desperately to get back the old spark!:(

Silk painting follow up!

                                             
Hey u all:)!!!!!i told u how much i was getting into the silk painting stuff!...i recently got my huge shiny new frame and have gotten started on painting some peices for a project i am working on....pray it comes out all nicey nice!

Gosh !! was so proud when my first peice was done.It has a sunset theme and i went ballistic with all my fav sunset reds and oranges!.........what do you think?

so far i have two peices ready....one in sunset the other in ocean!.....have many more to work on.....but will keep you updated:)

An attempt at silk painting!

wow! i have found out that i love painting on silk!....just recently discovered it while painting a silk scarf for my husband's aunt!....and i'm so glad she loved it!.....i tried an interesting technique on it by applying thumb print like strokes on it......it ended up giving it a grassy texture!....looked quite interesting!.....

 

oh ....and now i am more enthusiastic about getting started for real with the silk painting because i have bought this huge silk painting frame and working on a big project that is in the works.....u'll get to see the pics veryyy verrry soon!

Sunday Bazar find!

Hi everybody! i had saved this fabric for so long! its a vintage print i bought from the sunday bazaar ages ago! a Gaston Y Daniella print (those are beautiful and hard to find in my part of the world!)titled "Arquitectura" i fell in love with it the second i saw it! and i absolutely love the parisian architecture used in this design! I think it looks gorgeous on my desk!

hi all!...i plan to introduce you today to the sweetest gift of God for me:).....my 3month old baby "Soha". Her name means "little star"....and she sure is the brightest star of my life! I am so busy with her all the time and hadly get the time to blog!
